Dairy maker FrieslandCampina Romania appoints new GM
Dairy maker FrieslandCampina Romania has appointed the current sales manager Cornel Caramizaru as general manager starting January 1, 2016.
Caramizaru will replace Jan Willem Kivits, who has managed the company in the last three years. Kivits was named general manager of FrieslandCampina Russia.
Caramizaru has been working for FrieslandCampina Romania since 2011 and has an 18-year manager experience in multinational companies.
FrieslandCampina is part of the Dutch group Royal FrieslandCampina, one of the sixth largest dairy producers in the world. The group owns Napolact, one of the strongest Romanian dairy brands.
FrieslandCampina Romania had sales of close to EUR 90 million, while Napolact had sales of over EUR 50 million in 2014, according to official data.
