Danish duo The Raveonettes to perform in Romania this summer
The Danish indie-rock duo The Raveonettes will perform this summer in Romania, on August 14 at the Summer Well Festival held in Buftea, 15 kilometers away from Bucharest.
The Raveonettes are a Danish indie rock duo, consisting of Sune Rose Wagner on guitar, instruments, and vocals, and Sharin Foo on bass, guitar and vocals. Officially, the band was discovered by “Rolling Stone” editor David Fricke at the Spot festival, and his rave review of the duo immediately resulted in a number of offers from major labels.
The band's first full-length album, “Chain Gang of Love”, released in 2003, was produced by Richard Gottehrer and The Raveonettes' own Sune Rose Wagner. The following album was released in 2005, and was called “Pretty in Black”. This year, on April 4, the band released its most recent album, “Raven in the Grave”.
