Violinist David Garrett will hold an additional concert in Bucharest in 2018, after the first one is almost sold-out, the organizers of the event said.

The concerts will take place on June 8 and June 9, at Sala Palatului. Both concerts are part of the artist’s Explosive Live tour.

The violinist is known for his crossover performances, which brought him worldwide success, beginning with his 2006 album Virtuoso.

Garrett has performed in Romania before, at the 2012, 2015 and 2017 editions of the George Enescu International Festival. He plays on a 1716 A. Busch Stradivarius violin.

Tickets, priced RON 140 to RON 450, are already on sale at eventim.ro, and in the Eventim network.
