German cosmetics and personal care goods retailer dm drogerie markt will invest EUR 13 million in new headquarters and distribution center in Timisoara, local Ziarul Financiar reported.

The project will lead to creating 300 new jobs in the city. Work on this project has started and the distribution center should be finalized this fall.

The 12,000-sqm distribution center will supply all of the network’s stores in Romania and support its expansion. Some 250 employees are expected to work there. The 2,500-sqm office component will also host 150 employees.

Dm entered the Romanian market in 2007 and has reached a network of 90 stores and over 600 employees.
