Romanian businessman takes over property portfolio from Veneto Banca
Studium Green, a real estate developer from Cluj owned by local businessman Dorin Bob, took over a portfolio of 100 properties from Immobiliare Italo Romena, a subsidiary of the former Italian bank Veneto Banca that since 2017 has been in the process of forced administrative liquidation.
Reff & Asociații and Deloitte Romania assisted Studium Green in acquiring the portfolio, and the value of the transaction is confidential.
The portfolio includes residential and office buildings, farmland, hotels and guesthouses located all over the country, mainly in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Oradea.
The 100 properties taken over from Immobiliare Italo Romena will complete Studium Green's existing portfolio, which includes real estate projects such as Wings, West Side Park and Seasons, located in Cluj-Napoca.
"I am particularly pleased with the acquisition of this portfolio of properties that have been blocked for many years due to the legal and financial situation of the Veneto Group," said Dorin Bob, CEO of Studium Green.
