DPD Romania invests EUR 1.5 mln in logistics center in Mogosoaia
DPD Romania, one of the largest players on the local parcel and express delivery market, has inaugurated a new logistics center in Mogosoaia, near Bucharest.
The company has invested EUR 1.5 million in the new center, which covers 4,800 sqm. The new warehouse allows the company to sort 70,000 parcels per day, respectively 2,000 pallets per day.
The company kicked off its strategy to expand at national level last year. It also wants to increase its logistics capacity in Sibiu, where the company’s central hub is located.
DPD Romania posted a turnover of EUR 21 million last year, up 25.7% over 2014.
