Drug producer Zentiva ups net profit by over a third in Romania
Local drug producer Zentiva Bucuresti, which is part of French group Sanofi, recorded a net profit of EUR 11.6 million in the first nine months of the year, up 36% compared to the profit recorded during the same period last year.
The company’s turnover reached EUR 65.6 million at the end of September, up 4.45% compared to the first nine months of 2015.
Czech company Zentiva, the generic drug division of French group Sanofi, is the third largest generics manufacturer in Europe and also one of the fastest growing companies in this market. The company holds a top position in several pharma markets, such as the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, and Turkey.
