DTZ Echinox changes name to Cushman & Wakefield Echinox
Local real estate consultancy company DTZ Echinox will change its name in Cushman & Wakefield Echinox, following the merger at global level between DTZ and Cushman in 2015.
The company posted a turnover of EUR 3 million at the end of 2016. For this year, it plans to increase its business by 35%.
The firm estimates that the transactions on the local real estate market will exceed EUR 1 billion this year. Last year they reached EUR 850 million.
"This year we’ll see new players in the market and the volume of investment will be somewhere between EUR 1.2 - 1.4 billion. But it also depends on large transactions, whether they are completed by the end of this year or not," said Tim Wilkinson, capital markets partner in Cushman & Wakefield Equinox.
The firm is working on several big deals, including the sale of America House office building in downtown Bucharest.
