E.ON Romania moves HQ on two floors in City Gate Towers
Natural gas and power operator E.ON Romania has moved its headquarters to 2,600 sqm of space in City Gate Towers in the Free Press Square in Bucharest, according to DTZ Echinox. E.ON Romania will relocate its headquarters in the new office building starting with the middle of March 2011, occupying the 7th and 8th floors.
The two towers have a total surface of 93,000 sqm, 43,000 sqm above ground and provide the tenants with 1,042 underground parking places. Tower A, with 21,000 sq m lettable area, has been delivered in Q4 2009, while Tower B, 21,000 sq m, has been launched in Q1 2010. The project has an occupation ration of approximately 90%, with tenants such as: Romtelecom, Autoitalia – Maserati, Infiniti, Rompetrol, Oasis, Embassy, MedLife, Microsoft, Millenium Bank. City Gate Towers has been developed by GTC and Bluehouse.
E.ON Romania, member of the E.ON Group AG from Germany, operates in the natural gas and power industry in the northern part of Romania. With a total number of over 2.9 million of customers, E.ON Romania is the second largest energy operator on the Romanian market. Currently, the E.ON companies in Romania have over 6,500 employees on domestic market.
