Early booking holiday sales go up more than 50% in Romania
The number of holidays for the 2017 summer season bought in November and December this year (early booking) went up by 55%, on average, compared to last year, according to Christian Tour, one of the biggest local tour operators.
The early booking holiday sales for resorts in Turkey went up by 75% and represent 40% of the total sales volume. This was also due to the high discounts for these destinations.
The holiday bookings Romanians made for the Greek islands of Santorini and Zakynthos went up by 45% and 43%. Local clients also booked 38% more holidays in Mallorca and 35% more holidays at the Romanian seaside.
