The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development EBRD will support Romania in drafting its national energy strategy. The Delegate Minister for Energy Razvan Nicolescu recently met an EBRD delegation led by Riccardo Puliti, general manager for Energy and Natural Resources, and James Hyslop, director for Romania within EBRD.

Romania will get technical assistance from the EBRD in creating the national energy strategy, the Energy Department has announced.

The EBRD and Romanian state representatives also discussed about renewables, as well as about Romania's interconnection projects on natural gas and electricity. The EBRD officials were also interested in the stock exchange listings of Electrica and Complexul Energetic Oltenia.
