EC urges Romania to create charging stations for electric cars
The European Commission urged yesterday seven member states, including Romania, to modify their national policy framework based on EU rules in order to install infrastructure for alternative fuels.
The other countries include Greece, Ireland, Malta, Poland, Slovenia and the United Kingdom.
The seven countries, including Romania, need to create refueling stations for electric vehicles as well as gas and hydrogen refueling points, according to the EC.
The seven countries have two months two meet their obligations. If not, the Commission can notify the EU Court of Justice on this case.
