The volume of American investments to Romania should increase and diversify, said Romania’s economy minister Constantin Nita in a business seminar.

“We want a more active presence of American capital on the Romanian market. Energy, oil and gas, aviation, agriculture, IT, mining, research, auto industry, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, military industry – these are all opportunities for American companies in Romania,” Nita said.

He added that the Romanian Government has made important steps in the relationship with the business environment and that the moment is really good in terms of existing opportunities for potential investors.

“We have a stable political and economic climate, very good economic results, as well as strategic projects that have a regional impact. These make Romania a secure destination for foreign investors,” Nita concluded.
