Eggs enjoy popularity among Romanians, who list them among their favorite foods. A recent study conducted by iSense.Solutions reveals that 93% of people living in urban areas consume this product. Moreover, 83% of them eat eggs at least 2 or 3 times a week.

Romanians like to have eggs for breakfast, in any form, but they also eat them for lunch or dinner, or as a snack between meals.

Romanians choose eggs based on several criteria: 94% of them like them  fresh, 87% want the quality to be well reflected by the price, 85% want bio eggs, while 84% pay attention to the taste.

The study was conducted by iSense.Solutions on a sample of 1,000 people. The data are representative for the urban area.
