Egypt buys more wheat from Romania
The Egyptian authorities bought another 60,000 tonnes of wheat from Romania this week, for which they paid almost USD 15.6 million. At the end of August Egypt purchased the same quantity for some USD 15.5 million.
The Romanian wheat was bought from American grain trader Bunge for USD 259.88 per tonne, reports local Mediafax. At the end of August, the Egyptian authorities bought the 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat from the Invivo grain trader, for USD 257.77 per tonne.
The grains will be delivered between October 1 and October 10.
