Egypt buys USD 15 mln worth of wheat from Romania
The Egyptian government bought 60,000 tonnes of wheat from Romania, for which it paid some USD 15.5 million, reports local Mediafax.
Egypt bought the 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat from the Invivo grain trader, for USD 257.77 per tonne. It also purchased 115,000 tonnes of wheat from Russia for prices between USD 259.29 and USD 259.43 per tonne.
The grains will be delivered between September 21 and September 30.
Record crops for Romania this year, despite bad weather.
