Online retailer Elefant.ro opens first outlet center in Bucharest
Romanian online retailer Elefant.ro, the second biggest player on the local market, has opened an outlet center in the Pacii neighborhood in Bucharest.
The retailer sells various products in the new center, from perfumes, watches and bags to toys, home appliances and clothing, local Profit.ro reported.
Elefant.ro is the second biggest online store in Romania based on the number of orders, after eMag. It announced a turnover of EUR 45 million for 2017, after its business grew by 70% to about EUR 27 million the year before.
Founded in 2010, the company has expanded abroad, opening a subsidiary in Chisinau, in the Republic of Moldova.
