Employers in Romania get financial incentive to hire students during holiday
Employers can benefit from a monthly incentive of RON 250 (EUR 54.4) for each student or pupil they hire during the holidays, according to the Ilfov County Agency for Employment.
The money will be granted from the unemployment insurance budget, reports local Agerpres. Employers can benefit from this financial incentive for maximum 60 working days in one year.
The employers will pay the difference between the wage given to the student and the financial incentive granted by the state. This incentive will be deducted from the unemployment social contribution due by the employer.
However, companies that hired students or pupils before the holiday officially began will not benefit from this incentive.
