Enea Software Romania opens R&D center in Craiova
Software company Enea Software Romania will open a new research and development center in Craiova, and wants to recruit 30 software engineers by the end of this year.
The company has projects in the aerospatial, pharma, and financial industries.
Bogdan Putinica, senior vice-president of Enea Software, said that Craiova has a community of over 3,000 IT engineers which has been growing at a high pace. The city is also an “important university center”, with the Faculty of Automation, Electronics, and Computers providing a true nursery of talent in recent years.
Enea Craiova is the second R&D center the company opens in Romania outside of Bucharest. The company opened a R&D center in Iasi this spring.
Enea has 300 employees in Romania. Some 290 of them are in Bucharest and 10 in Iasi.
