Enel names Luca D'Agnese GM of Romanian subsidiary
Luca D’Agnese is the new general manager of Enel Romania, replacing Claudio Zito, who ended his mandate. D’Agnese has previously been general manager with Italian power operator GRTN and then operations director with Terna.
Claudio Zito started his mandate at the helm of Enel in Romania in 2009, when he replaced Matteo Codazzi. Enel has 2.6 million clients in Romania and runs a network of 93,000 km of electricity networks in the country. It employs 5,000 people. Enel sells electricity through its divisions Enel Energie and Enel Energie Muntenia. Enel Distribuţie Banat, Enel Distribuţie Dobrogea and Enel Distribuţie Muntenia operate the electricity network in these regions. The company also works on renewable energy through Enel Green Power.
