State-owned lender EximBank won the tender for providing the Romanian Post a loan of RON 60 million (EUR 13.4 million) for three years.

The money will be used to finance the company’s working capital.

It is the second partnership between EximBank and the Post. In 2013 the bank granted the post operator another loan of RON 100 million (EUR 22.4 million). The Post completed the reimbursement of that loan at the beginning of this year.

The Communications Ministry owns 75% of the Romanian Post’s shares and local investment fund Fondul Proprietatea holds 25%.
