EY's Entrepreneur Of The Year competition in Romania nominates its 12 finalists
The 12 finalists of the Entrepreneur Of The Year competition in Romania were nominated at the end of last week, from a total of 40 participants. The 12 entrepreneurs run top companies in the sectors in which they are active, with total revenues of almost EUR 500 million and a total of some 8,000 employees, according to EY Romania.
EY didn’t reveal the names of the 12 finalists who will compete for the three titles to be awarded during the local gala ceremony scheduled for November 12, namely Entrepreneur Of The Year, Emerging Entrepreneur Of The Year and Social Entrepreneur Of The Year.
The big finalist will have the chance to enter the world final, to be held in June 2015 in Monte Carlo, and win the World Entrepreneur Of The Year title.
To select the winners of the competition in Romania, the jury reviewed each application based on six criteria: entrepreneurial spirit, financial performance, strategic direction, the impact on the community, capacity for innovation and personal integrity.
This competition was launched in Romania in May 2014. EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is being organized in 145 cities in 60 countries for almost 30 years.
