Fabrice Cambolive to leave Renault Commercial Romania for Russia and Eurasia

Fabrice Cambolive (in picture), general manager of Renault Commercial Roumanie, will be promoted as Renault's commercial director for Russia and Eurasia, from September 1, according to Renault Russia, quoted by Ziarul Financiar.

Fabrice Cambolive, 43, came to Romania in early 2009 to take over on March 1 as Commercial Director for Dacia, Renault and Nissan, replacing Jacques Daniel. Before coming to Romania, he led the Renault importer in Switzerland, and the marketing department of Renault in Germany.

Renault Group set a new sales record worldwide in first-half 2011 with 1.4 million units, up 1.9 percent compared to 2010. The group is forecasting 3 to 4 percent growth in the global market in 2011, compared to the one recorded last year, while in France, the group’s market share at end-2011 should be close to that of end-2010, according to Renault.
