Famous foreign neurosurgeons meet Romanian counterparts at congress in Bucharest this week
Famous neurosurgeons from around the world will be in Romania from Thursday (September 19) to Saturday (September 21) for a congress organized by the Romanian neurosurgery society.
Foreign and local surgeons will present their most difficult and interesting cases, hoping to improve the knowledge and surgery performances of Romanian neurosurgeons.
The event will take place at the National Military Center (Cercul Militar Național) venue close to the downtown Universitate area.

Among the invited speakers are doctors Helmut Bertalanffy from Germany, Patrick Dhellemmes from France, Atul Goel from India, Olivier Klein and Philippe Mercier, both from France, along with several Romanian speakers, including Alexandru Vladimir Ciurea, Stefan Florian and Nicolae Ianovici.
The Official opening on Thursday morning was attended by Minister of Health Eugen Nicolaescu, and by president of the Romanian Health Insurance House Gheorghe Iana, as well as by the heads of several medical universities in Romania.
