Famous Italian tenor considers moving to Romania
Italian tenor Alessandro Safina, who will perform in Bucharest this April, said in an interview for local Europa FM that he was thinking of moving to Romania.
“Yes, I am thinking about moving to Romania because my son is Romanian. I have my home in Italy, but I am thinking about it. Nothing is decided yet, but I am thinking of buying or renting a flat here. I’ll see. I’ll tell you next year,” the tenor said.
Safina also talked about the Romanian cities he had visited, such as Timisoara, Deva and Targoviste, adding that he really liked Brasov and Bucharest.
Alessandro Safina, born October 14, 1963, in Siena, started studying music when he was 9. The tenor has had a bright music career and continues to do so. Among the names that have collaborated with Safina is the British Soprano Sarah Brightman and actor Ewan McGregor. Read more about him here.
The Italian tenor will perform in Bucharest on April 14 this year. The concert will take place at Sala Palatului.
He has previously performed in Romania, in 2012, 2009, and 2008.
