Romania’s famous Topoloveni Plum Jam (Magiunul de prune Topoloveni in Romanian) is currently promoted at the 2015 Winter Fancy Food Show taking place in San Francisco between January 11 and 13. This is the American West Coast’s largest specialty food and beverage trade show, according to a statement of Sonimpex Topoloveni, the producer of the plum jam.

The Topoloveni Plum Jam first arrived to America through the second promotion programme with European funds accessed by Sonimpex Topoloveni – “I Love European Fine Foods” – which debuted last year in Dubai.

Winter Fancy Food Show gathers exhibitors from the US and 35 other countries and regions, the Topoloveni Plum Jam being the only Romanian product present at the event.

The Topoloveni Plum Jam has become one of the 1,000 products included in the European quality system in 2011, after it was included in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications.
