Festival to bring Thai culture and traditions in Bucharest this June

A total of 45 Thai artists and 22 craftsmen will bring the music and traditional Thai dancing, wood, porcelain and fruit carving, miniatures, and martial arts demonstrations at the Thai Cultural Festival “Thailand 2011” in Bucharest, according to Chantipha Phutrakul, the Thailand Ambassador to Bucharest.

At its second edition, the festival will take place between June 3 and 4, at the National Village Museum "Dimitrie Gusti", and between June 5 and 6 in Cismigiu Park. The festival will also present a performance of Thai classical dance and music called "Thailand: The spirit of people", supported by the Thai Classical Dance Group, that will be held on June 5 at Sala Palatului in Bucharest, starting 19:00 hours. Tickets for this event can be purchased from Sala Palatului.
