Few Romanians go to official websites for information
Only 9% of the Romanians with Internet access used last year official websites to get informed, whereas the European average was 41%, according to EU’s statistical office Eurostat.
The Europeans who used most the Internet to find official information are the Swiss, and the residents of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland), with rates of 62-81%, reports local Wall-street.ro.
Romania also reported a smaller percentage of downloading official documents. This amounted to 5%, compared to the EU level of 29%.
Only 3% of Romanians submitted documents online, whereas the EU average was 26%.
