Final Distribution, importer of construction materials from Gerard, Delta and Keylite, has opened a production line for gutters and downpipes in Baicoi, Prahova county. The value of the investment goes up to EUR 500,000, according to the company.

Sold under the brand Novatik, the rainfall system produced at Baicoi will provide a volume of 3.5 mil ml/year for pipes and a milion ml/year for gutters. Company representatives expect the Novatik gutters and downpipes segment to have a share of 17 percent of company’s turnover in 2011, respectively that the sales exceed EUR 1 million.

Final Distribution registered for 2010 a turnover exceeding EUR 4 million, maintaining the level of 2009. For 2011, the company estimates an increase of turnover by about 20 percent compared to 2010, triggered by the portfolio expansion.
