Finnish Soprano Tarja Turunen comes to Romania for Christmas concert this winter
Finnish soprano Tarja Turunen, former lead vocalist of symphonic metal band Nighwish, will perform at Ateneul Roman in Bucharest on December 7. The concert is part of the artist’s Ave Maria Christmas tour.
Tarja Turunen is known as one of Finland’s most beautiful voices. She was the lead singer of Nightwish between 1996 and 2005, and started a solo career a year later, in 2006. The artist also developed other alternative projects such as Beauty and the Beat.
Recently, Tarja Turunen was also a jury and a coach in The Voice of Finland, one of her team’s contestants being the winner of the competition.

The concert in Romania is organized by Phoenix Entertainment. Tickets cost RON 350, RON 250 and RON 150 and can be purchased from Germanos, Orange, Vodafone, and Domo stores, Humanitas and Carturesti bookshops, and online from eventim.ro.
