First Chinese frigate in the Black Sea attracts tourists in the Romanian port of Constanta

The Chinese Naval Forces frigate Yan Tai, currently docked in Constanta harbor, became the center of attraction for thousands of tourists, who visited it. This is the first ship of the Chinese Navy to come to Romania and navigate the Black Sea. The multi-role warship Yan Tai is equipped with sophisticated sensors and can engage in electronic battle, as well as using conventional weaponry equipment.

The 134 meters long ship is 16 meters wide and can reach a cruising speed of 30 knots.

The Chinese frigate began a five-day goodwill visit to Romania end July, when a Romania lion-dance team performed to welcome the arrival.
