The Lithuanian investors who own the Europa Royale Hotel in Bucharest and are building a Hilton Garden Inn next to Romania’s National Bank headquarters, will start the construction of another hotel in the north of Bucharest this year.
The hotel will be operated under the Courtyard by Marriott brand, sources in the tourism market said, reports local Profit.ro.
The hotel will be rated with four stars and will have 200-250 rooms and several conference rooms. The total investment is estimated at EUR 18-20 million.
Courtyard Marriott is the four-star brand of the group Marriott International. The first Courtyard hotel was opened in Atlanta in 1983. The group currently has over 1,000 hotels operating under this brand in 42 countries.
