The average price of apartments located in the center and the north of Bucharest remained the same in August compared to the same month in 2014, amounting to some EUR 67,000, whereas the average price of apartments located on the city’s outskirts dropped by 5.6% year-on-year, from EUR 53,000 to EUR 50,000.

The price difference between the two segments increased by over 20%, to EUR 17,000, according to real estate platform HomeFinders.

Compared to July this year, the prices for apartments in all areas of Bucharest dropped by 1.6%, or some EUR 1,000. However, the number of offers rose in August compared to July. Last month, owners put up for sale 3,639 apartments, up by 3.1% compared to July.
