Fondul Proprietatea: A new IMF agreement would be beneficial for Romania
A new agreement between Romania and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 2015 would be beneficial for the country and for the economy, as it would increase investors’ confidence, according to Greg Koniecnzy, manager of Romanian investment fund Fondul Proprietatea.
“External verification and assistance from respectable international financial institutions such as the IMF is always useful and increases investors’ confidence in Romania’s economy, which started to increase and has a growth potential of 5%, said Koniecnzy, cited by local Agerpres.
He added that investors trust politicians, but only to some extent, and also want an additional verification from respectable international financial institutions.
