Employers will be able to give food vouchers in an electronic form, according to a press release of the Ministry of Public Finance on a new draft law on food coupons.

Employers will load an electronic wallet with the nominal value corresponding to the food vouchers, which will be used exclusively for the purchase of food, as it is not allowed to be used for cash withdrawal transactions.

The new regulations in the draft decision will allow employees to use the food coupons more flexibly. The provision that restricted the use of food coupons to maxim 2 a day was removed.
