Footwear retailer Deichmann launches online store in Romania
German footwear retailer Deichmann has launched its online store in Romania.
The delivery is free and takes up to 48 hours after the products have been placed to the courier, reports local Profit.ro.
Deichmann entered the local market in 2007. It became a market leader surpassing Romanian footwear retailer Leonardo, which has gone through a reorganization process.
The retailer currently owns 75 stores in Romania. It opened five units last year and plans to inaugurate another seven by the end of this year. The company posted sales of EUR 74 million last year, up 12% over 2014.
At group level, Deichmann posted a turnover of EUR 5.3 billion in 2015.
