Forbes: Richest Romanian Ion Tiriac ranks 1,795 in the world

Former tennis player and current billionaire Ion Tiriac is the only Romanian included in the latest edition of the Forbes ranking of the world’s richest.
Tiriac has a wealth estimated at USD 1.1 billion, which places him on the 1,795th position worldwide.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates remains the richest person in the world, with a fortune of USD 86 billion. He is followed by the U.S. investor Warren Buffett, with a fortune of USD 75.6 billion.
Spanish entrepreneur Amancio Ortega, who owns the fashion retailer Zara, fell to the 4th place, with a fortune of USD 71.3 billion. He was surpassed by Jeff Bezos, the director of the Amazon group, with a wealth of USD 72.8 billion. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who is only 32 years old, ranks fifth, with a wealth of USD 56 billion.
Among the top 20 billionaires, only Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin are younger than 60.
