The month of October brought a record sale increase for car market Ford in Romania, as 830 Ford cars were registered in the country during the month, placing the car maker second among new car sales in the country. Ford posted a 74% year-on-year growth, and had a market share of 9.3% in October.

Best sold model in October was Ford Fiesta, followed by Focus and Mondeo. Three quarter of the cars sold by Ford in October were part of car fleets. Ford sold over 6,000 units in Romania since the beginning of the year, ranking third for new car sales.
