Car maker Ford Romania has started producing Ford Transit Connect cars (model in pic) at the plant in Craiova, after having used the production unit just for assembling the model so far, according to Nadia Crisan, member of the company's administration council, quoted by Mediafax newswire.

Ford Romania has assembled 400 Ford Transit Connect units with components brought from the group's factory in Turkey.
