Ford Trucks opens in Romania its largest office in Europe
Ford Trucks, the truck division of US automaker Ford, inaugurated yesterday its office in Romania, which will be the largest one in Europe, with a total area of 17,000 sqm.
The office is located near the Bucharest-Pitesti highway.
The headquarters was built following a partnership between the Romanian importer Cefin Trucks and Ford’s Turkish subsidiary. It includes areas for sales, post-sales, and spare parts.
The inauguration is part of the group's strategy on its trucks segment to develop a network with distribution agreements on three continents, particularly in the Middle East, North Africa, Russia and Turkey, and most recently in Eastern Europe.
The service center of Cefin Trucks has 85 employees and records an average of 600 repairs per month. Cefin Trucks is owned by Italian investor Stefano Albarosa.
