Foreign direct investments down to EUR 1.1 billion in Romania
Foreign direct investments to Romania went down by 30.5 percent in the first seven months of this year, to EUR 1.1 billion, compared to the same period of 2010. The FDI covered 39 percent of the current account deficit in the country, according to data from the Romanian Central Bank (BNR).
Foreign direct investments to Romania were down 25.6 percent compared to 2009, to EUR 2.5 billion.
