Foreign investments to Romania, down by EUR 200 mln
The foreign direct investments (FDI) went down by EUR 200 million year-on-year in the first ten months of the year in Romania, but increased by EUR 80 million in October compared to the previous month.
The FDI amounted to EUR 1.6 billion in the first ten months, according to data released by the National Bank of Romania (BNR).
"The non-residents' direct investments in Romania amounted to EUR 1.591 billion euros, of which the equity (including the estimated net loss) totalled EUR 1.598 billion and the intra-group loans registered a negative value of EUR 7 million (net),” reads the BNR press release.
