Former Romanian Olympic champion appointed CSR Manager
HR company Adecco Romania has recruited the former Olympic champion Gabriela Szabo for the position of CSR & Public Affairs Manager.
Szabo, 40, will coordinate the social responsibility programs for Adecco. It will identify career opportunities for young people and support the young talents in sports, reports local Ziarul Financiar.
Szabo won the Olympic champion title at Sydney in 2000 in the 5,000 meters running event. She also won a silver medal in Atlanta, in 1996. In 1999, she was designated the world’s best athlete.
In March 2014, she was appointed Minister of Youth and Sports in the Victor Ponta cabinet.
