Former Vodafone - Connex CEO Ted Lattimore returns to Romania for business conference

Businessman Ted Lattimore (in picture), the former president and COO at Vodafone Romania (formerly Connex – MobiFon) until 2005, will return to Romania to deliver a speech at a business conference. He will speak about strategic visions in turnaround times at the first edition of Enlightening business conference that will be held at the JW Marriot Bucharest Grand Hotel on November 17 this year.

Vodafone - Connex at the time - grew from 1 million to five million customers under Lattimore's helm. He was replaced by Romanian Liliana Solomon in 2005.  The current CEO of Vodafone Romania is Iñaki Berroeta.

Ted Lattimore holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, and completed executive finance training at the Harvard Business School. He is now the CEO of Carmanah Technologies Corporation in his home country Canada.

He has more than 20 years of entrepreneurial and executive experience in the mobile telecommunications industry. He served as Senior Vice President, Western Canada of Bell Mobility since 1999 to 2000, and has been the Chief Executive Officer of Carmanah Technologies Corp. since October 16, 2007 and its president since 2007. Ted Lattimore also was Vice President, Marketing of BCTel Mobility from 1989 to 1999 and Vice President and General Manager of Wireless Services from 1997 to 1999 of BCTel Mobility.

Besides Ted Lattimore, Robert Murray Executive Vice-President, North America for Faronics Corporation, Kevin Heaney – Vice-President Worldwide Sales & Marketing, Endurance Wind Power, Ada Roseti - Channel Director South Eastern Europe, Discovery Europe, Catalin Velescu - Executive Director, 3M Romania, and Sergiu Negut - Deputy CEO, Regina Maria, will also hold a speech during this event.
