Tourists planning to visit the famous Sarmizegetusa Regia Dacian site in Romania this Sunday, May 1, will have the chance to discover the ancient fortress’ secrets during free guided tours offered by DGAMPT Hunedoara.

A historian or archaeologist will accompany each group during the 45-minute guided tours organized at the former Dacian capital on May 1 (Labour Day). The tours will start at 10:00 for groups of at least 15 people.

In addition, the Sarmizegetusa Regia Administration also announced that the visiting schedule would change on May 1. During the summer season, the archaeological site will await visitors between 09:00 and 20:00.
