French ambassador plays the piano on Romania’s culture day
Michele Ramis, the Ambassador of France to Romania, celebrated the country’s National Culture Day in a unique way: she played the Romanian Serenade (Serenada Romana) by Romanian composer Constantin Dimitrescu on piano.
She was accompanied by Marin Cazacu, one of the most appreciated Romanian cellists.
The French Embassy shared a video of the performance on its Facebook page.
Romania celebrates its National Culture Day every year on January 15, the day when its national poet Mihai Eminescu was born. British ambassador to Romania Paul Brummel also marked the day in a special way, reciting two poems by Eminescu.
