French Film Festival kicks off in Romania this November
The 17th edition of the French Film Festival will be organized in Bucharest between November 1 and November 10, at Elvira Popescu cinema.
This year’s edition will focus on promoting young French filmmakers, through a competition between their debut films, according to the French Institute.
Also, for the first time in the festival’s history, the public will be invited to vote for their favorite movie. The winner will receive the TV5 Mode Audience Award.
Some of the films to be screened at the French Film Festival are Populaire, Stella, Comme Des Frères, Le Temps de L’aventure and Les Gouffres . The entire program of the festival in Bucharest can be seen here.
The French Film Festival will also be organized in other cities across Romania, namely Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Sibiu and Oradea .
