French group Saint-Gobain recorded a turnover of over RON 700 million (some EUR 160 million) last year in Romania, up five percent against the previous year.

For this year, the company’s expectations stay positive, but cautious, according to company representatives, reports local Wall-street.ro.

The French group is present in Romania with four companies active in producing construction materials. It employs 1,100 people locally and operates 12 production lines on eight industrial sites.

At a group level, Saint-Gobain is present in 64 countries and has around 190,000 employees.
