Garanti Leasing, part of financial group Garanti Romania, has signed a loan agreement of EUR 7 million with the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE), the company announced. The loan will be used to facilitate the access of micro and small enterprises in Romania to fixed asset financing.

“Micro and small enterprises represent a segment of interest for the Romanian economy. However, they still face limited access to the funding needed to grow and achieve success. We are glad that we can support these companies through the partnership with the European Fund for Southeast Europe,” said Okan Yurtsever, general manager Garanti Leasing.

Garanti Leasing has been part of Garanti Romania group since 2010. It completes the group’s range of products and services with leasing offers for vehicles, equipment and real estate, sale and lease-back.

Since its inauguration, the company granted EUR 650 million for assets in financial leasing and signed over 40,000 leasing contracts. It currently operates through seven local offices.
