The price of natural gas produced in Romania and paid by individuals will not increase until July 1, 2015,  the Department of Energy announced yesterday, December 3, reports local Agerpres.

The Government will develop together with the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) a new liberalization scheme for the period July 1, 2015 - July 1, 2021 which will take into account the downward trend of hydrocarbons price development in the area, as well as the longer alignment period agreed with international financial institutions.

Minister-delegate for Energy Razvan Nicolescu met on Tuesday representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Commission (EC) and the World Bank (WB).
